A Day In the City

We went to northern Virginia today for work.  That meant a 12 hour day, 4 hours of it spent in the truck.  Nothing of astounding interest, except observing the nuts stuck in the traffic jams with us.

The first time I looked over at the neighboring car, I saw a woman in her 20’s putting on her makeup.  The next time I looked over, I saw a man looking at the coupons from yesterday’s newspaper.  I didn’t look over any more.  Not knowing might not make me safer, but at least I didn’t have to think about the moron in the car next to us.

  1. It’s called multi-tasking. They’re increasing productivity by effective time management. Or they slept in too late. Hard to say which.
